General Information of Humic Acid
1. Humic acid extracted from natural high grade Leonardite.

Humic Acid is black glossy flakes, powders and crystals with high water solubility and resistance to hard water. Humic acid has the following effects:
1. Improve the soil
Humic acid interacts with calcium ions in the soil to form a flocculent precipitating gel, It bonds the soil together, increasing the ability of soil particles to absorb water and nutrients. Humic acid can also increase soil pores, thus improving the soil's water and fertilizer retention capacity.
2. Effect of humic acid on crop yield and quality
The test showed that compared with the application of organic-inorganic compound fertilizer or chemical fertilizer, Application of humic acid could increase the yied of crop grain and oil crops by 8% ~ 20%, and that of melons,fruits, vegetables and cash crops by 15% ~ 35%.
This is closely related to the synergistic effect of humic acid on fertilizer and soil improvement.
3. Synergistic effect of potassium fertilizer
Functional groups in humic acid can also absorb and store potassium ions. Humic acid prevents potassium ions from being lost to water in the sand. It also prevents potassium from immobilizing in the cohesive soil. The utilization rate of potassium fertilizer can be increased by about 5%
4. Improve crop quality
